On a summer afternoon (over a few gins), the idea for sedàe was born.
Living by the sea, it felt natural for our store to reflect the coastal lifestyle of beautiful Ōrewa, where many come to enjoy the beach and surf on weekends, and for locals, every day of the week - how lucky are we.
The stores location holds a special place in our hearts. Originally established by our founder’s grandmother, sedàe embodies a continuation of her legacy - a female-led, family-inspired business.
And so, sedàe was born - a name that honours the past, celebrates the present and looks forward to the future.
